PAINTINGS
I love the collaborative process that evolves while working with a client on a painting. I am open to ideas, and I love a good challenge.
Currently, due to working conditions, I am only creating works in acrylic. No more oil paintings for the foreseeable future.
After a conversation with a client I will provide a few rough sketches for us to discuss and once we have an idea we are both happy with I’ll jump right in. I may provide a tighter sketch or a digital mock-up but I prefer to keep the process organic and some of these steps may not be necessary.

Below are a few of my recent commissions.The prayer wheel was designed by a friend and handmade by my landlord at the time, a master craftsman in his mid 70s. I hand painted it with acrylic.
FRAMES
I’m in the process of moving and don’t currently have a shop so custom frame building is on hold until further notice.

Rates
Rates for acrylic paintings are generally calculated at about $4 per square inch. For example, a 18x24” painting would cost about $1,728 plus tax and shipping. If a painting is more complicated (more detailed or multiple subjects like animals and more than one person) the rate may be $5 or sometimes even $6 per square inch for a really complex work. Have an idea for a commission and want a quote? Email me and we’ll figure out a fair price.
Also, I am able to add in the price of a custom frame if you choose to have me frame the work.
Pricing for other items is harder to determine without knowing the specifics of the job. Please email me for more information on pricing or to discuss a commission.
